I am useless at swaddling...I could never get it right and conventional blankets do not always lend well to this so based on reviews I bought a bunch of these!
We were so impressed on our first use...it was so easy to use, nice and cozy, very soft...all was well!! We had a calm, happy baby!
But one wash - cold cycle - and it had shrunk significantly!!! Add to that it runs very small indeed! Our little one was less than 6lbs at birth - small is designed for 'birth through three months" according to Kiddopotamus, yet this was good for all of two weeks, after which point it did not even meet the shoulders! So a baby that is born at the average 7lbs may be too big for the newborn size!
It also bobbled up after just one wash making it look old quickly!
It does work well in terms of swaddling, but the quality is simply not there...so if you chose to buy, pick a larger size or maybe look at other brands if you want a quality, lasting product!
Personally we found a sleep sack a better pick and offloaded the rest on ebay rather than even removing them from the pack!

I used this for my daughter, and I really like it. Its nice and cozy. Plus, its fastens really well. I definitely would get this, if you are interested in swaddling your baby. It stays a lot better than a blanket!

I had read the reviews on SwaddleMe and was excited to buy one for my granddaughter Allison, who was born Nov of 2008. It was going to be a Christmas present! Christmas eve Allison was fussy so I talked her parents into opening up the SwaddleMe and they tried it on her that night. Allison's mom had to wake her up on Christmas day! So it was actually two gifts in one. First, a full night's sleep for her parents and secondly, a secure good night's sleep for Allison! They love this item and even pack it with them to daycare. As a grandmother, I highly recommend this item as being on the top of the list for all new parents as well as the child. Make life easier and happier for your baby with a SwaddleMe, you'll be glad you did!

I bought one of these for my second child. I always had the hardest time swaddling my son correctly and he always 'escaped' so I decided not to mess around this time and get a swaddle wrap.
Having a winter baby, I chose the microfleece in pink for our new daughter. I love it and I can't say enough good things about it! It is super easy to use and she will stay swaddled for as long as I have her in it with no problems. The velcro holds great and it even has a slot so you can still strap them in to bouncers or swings.
I have washed the wrap several times and it is still as soft as I took it out of the packaging. The velcro is holding up well to the washing and I don't have problems with it latching onto the blanket.
I really recommend this product to parents with newborns that love to be swaddled. Much easier than using receiving blankets to swaddle your baby. They won't escape from this! :)
