DOES WORK April 7, 2008 try harder (southern oregon) I bought this and since then have done 100 sit ups daily, makes it alot easier, only thing is, better invest in a good exercise mat, for the rug BURN
doesn't work well without shoes March 19, 2008 E. Field (West Covina, CA United States) Maybe it's just me, but I found this next to useless if you aren't wearing shoes. As you can tell from the picture, the footbar can be secured in one of three positions over your feet. However if you're in bare feet or don't wear your shoes indoor like in my house, I found that even the lowest setting is still too "high," meaning it is still too far away from the door/floor and doesn't hold your feet down firmly at all. I tried using it a few times and have gone back to just sticking my toes under the couch.
Sit-Up Bar for Ironmen February 11, 2008 This is a VERY simple and in-expensive way to assist in your daily excercise routines. Large rooms filled with expensive equipment is not needed. ALL you need is a door in your house that has at least 6' of space directly in front of it for performing your sit-up routines. I use a very thick excercise mat with mine and several excercise routines come with the sit-up bar. It's GREAT for working on that flabby mid section that we ALL wish looked like those people who sell the EXPENSIVE infomercial machines look !!!
does what it is supposed to do September 22, 2007 IIIBobs (Hawaii) This situp bar doesn't have any bells and whistles but it does exactly what it is supposed to do and for that I give it 5 stars.
Performs as expected February 10, 2007 Dr. John A. Hamel V (Kensington, MD USA) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
It performs as expected without any bells and whistles. Other similar brands perform just as well.
