| Editorial Reviews:
Amazon.com Product Description Equipped with Anderson's exclusive Energy Loading System (ELS), the PyroTech SP slow-pitch softball bat will set your hitting on fire. ESP technology harnesses vibration energy in the barrel and transfers it to the ball, giving the bat an extra boost with every swing. The PyroTech SP also features a hot new aluminum construction called Diamond Flex X-Treme alloy (DFX), along with a Lexan bulletproof cap that gives the hitter a wider sweet spot and an improved support system for the barrel to launch bombs. Other features include a weld-less ergonomic knob, an ultra-thin whip handle, and Taper Flex technology, all of which combine to produce an MVP feel and performance. The bat, which is available in 27- through 30-ounce sizes, carries a one-year warranty.

| Customer Reviews:
The jury is still out on this one. September 3, 2008 M the Pearl (Los Angeles, CA) Bought it based on another review and the price. Other single wall, aluminum alloy (i.e., the legal bats in my league) performance bats are 200$ and up. Probably for a reason. I've tried to break this bat in and find the sweet spot, and probably need a few dozen more hits on it to tell for sure, but I'm not completely sold that this bat will give the pop of a more expensive demarini. Of course, performance is a tricky thing to measure/describe based on one person (and admittedly I'm not a power hitter), but I definitely don't feel the ping or pop that I'm used to with other bats.
What a GREAT bat!! June 29, 2008 Movie Fan (Planet Earth) Now to start this let me say that I hadn't played old-man/coed slow pitch softball in about 12 years. What a difference this bat is compared to the ones I used then. It just "Feels" right in my hands. and after 2 games I'm batting 7 for 8 (the only hit I didn't get was a strikeout from fouls). I LOVE this new bat and so does my team. seems like everybody is using it.
