Xmas Bummer January 18, 2008 T Switt (Long Island, NY) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I was under the impression that a hoop was attached this. In reality its a flat piece of plastic. Kind of goes against the whole *basketball* theme to me!!! So my son throws the ball against the flat plastic and NOTHING!!! The sensors are at the bottom of the plastic?!? like nowhere near where the hoop is *supposed* to be. So my son runs up and presses the bottom so the thing will talk! You be the judge....
Basketball Door Slammers January 20, 2007 Vanetta (Texas) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
According to my 9-yr old son, it is not all it is shown to be on television. All you do is hang it over the door, continually throw the ball at it, it makes comments, and racks up points. It is basically a one person game. You are competing against yourself. It is "boring".
The kids love it. January 10, 2007 Ann (Toledo, Ohio) 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I was concerned when the package arrived, as there was a four inch tear in the box along with an empty round hole, suggesting to me that something else might have been supposed to be included. So I put the item together, and it didn't work. It turns out that, when the batteries were replaced, it is one of my grandson's favorite toys this season. I am sure he would give it a five star rating.
