I recently ordered 20 pair of this item in different colors as a Christmas gift. I used Amazon Prime to expedite to overnight shipping for 3.99. Rather than group the socks together, I was charged 3.99 per pair by Amazon. I didn't notice until I received the confirmation email...they had charged me more for shipping than the total cost of the order! A total of eighty dollars shipping for socks!

I contacted customer service and was basically told to return the items or suck it. They included a very nice link to Amazon's shipping policy. I'm not a newbie. I've ordered thousands of dollars worth of merchandise from Amazon and I've paid for Prime since it became an option. In this instance, they screwed up and are willing to do nothing about it.

Now a few days before Christmas, I guess I'll have to hit a brick and mortar to find what I need. No one in their right mind would pay eighty dollars shipping for socks. I could probably ship an entire cargo container from Asia for that price.

These are good socks but the picture indicated a sock that came higher on the leg than these actually do.
