I just bought a pair of these for my 10 year old daughter for her birthday, after catching her trying to fit my on and commenting on how cozy they were. I'm on my 2nd pair after wearing a hole in the 1st pair after 8 years of action. My wife had thrown them out before I had written down the name of the company, and it took quite a bit of searching to find what I was looking for, naturally finding it at amazon. They are loose enough to fit over a pair of socks, but work just as well on their own. The leather bottom is sturdy enough for trips to the garage or even the car if the weather isn't wet.
