I purchased these shoes for my 13 year old son. He wanted these shoes for regular every day use - not just for playing soccer. I didn't want to buy them for every day use because they are all man made materials and I didn't think they would "breath" or hold up very well. My son is very hard on his shoes but so far there have been no problems and they have held together and have looked better for longer than the regular leather shoes we usually buy. My son loves them and I have been pleased with the durability.
