Amazon.com Product Description Ideal for the casual softball player who wants a professional performance, the Mizuno World Win GWW1301 mitt is soft, comfortable, and reliable. The 13-inch glove is made from specially tanned retro leather, which offers a soft, supple feel for easy break-in and durability. The built-in ParaShock palm pad, meanwhile, absorbs the shock of repeated use, providing outstanding protection and ideal comfort while you play. Most importantly, the glove offers an extra-wide pocket called a "double hinge heel," making it easy to secure the ball. Also outfitted with a patented QuikForm lacing system and a tartan web, the glove carries a one-year warranty.

excellent buy December 31, 2008 B. Kiefer Great price on a great glove. Leather was not fully broken in, but very soft, easy to work with. I played it in a game just days after receiving. Pocket is a good size for softball, and the inside is lined and comfortable. Only possible negative is the pinky loop is too far over to be easily used (at least for me) but I find this is true for most gloves so I just don't use it.
Nice Glove for a Great price October 1, 2008 Cliff E. Planck (Lex, Ky) I have been using this glove for a couple of weeks now. It is breaking in quite nicely. So far, I definitely recommend this glove for to anyone looking for a new one. The Leather quality is good, Lacing is good, Price was great.

Solid choice. April 29, 2008 T. Morrison 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was looking for a glove primarily to play catch with my 8 year old son. I also wanted one that would hold up if I get the bug for league play again. The World Win series is a level down from the Mizuno MVP series. It is still a premium grade consumer level product. I won't compare it to professional products as I have no experience with them. Build quality is excellent The glove is a bit stiffer (requiring more break in) than some of the less expensive gloves I looked at, but I attribute that to the high quality of the leather. A couple weeks of playing catch and that won't be an issue; and if I had to use it for a game right away it would be acceptable. The glove is a good size. My hands are average size and fit the glove pretty well. There is room in the glove to accomodate someone with larger hands. Overall size is good. Pocket is softball size, but a baseball is easily secured. If you like a large deep pocket for softball, this is probably not the glove for you. The thing that really cost the glove a star is the "PowerLock" closure. Instead of a traditional split wrist-back that is closed with some type of strap, the PowerLock strap is under the wrist-back of the glove. I find that it presses more on the sides of the wrist instead of the back. It is secure and not uncomfortable, but it feels odd. Perhaps with time I will get used to it. Overall I am happy with the glove and would recommend it.
