They look great, but some of the lights stopped working January 6, 2009 Adie (Severn, MD USA) The shoes look good on my son and he likes them, but one set of lights on one shoe stopped working within a month. Not terribly impressive for the price.
Great shoes! December 7, 2008 A. Streiff (Duluth, MN) My 7 year old son loves these! He's been wearing them every day since school started this year (so about 3 1/3 months now) and they still look great. The one thing I will say is Sketchers makes a sturdy shoe. Last year I learned my lesson when it comes to buying my kids shoes. I bought them some cheap Wal-Mart shoes and after 3 months, my sons shoes were falling apart and his toes stuck out the sides. I felt so bad for him because we live in northern Minnesota and there was several feet of snow on the ground and his feet would get wet anytime he had to go outside. Any regular parent would just be able to stop into a store one day after work and get their kids another pair of shoes, but our town is out in the middle of no-where and the closest Wal-Mart or mall is over an hour and a half drive away. So right away I got online and ordered some Sketchers for him. He was stuck wearing those horrible falling apart Wal-Mart shoes for a few days until they came in the mail, but then he was set for the rest of the school year. I should have known better in the first place since none of the Sketchers they have ever had have ever worn out. So from now on I pay a few extra dollars for the Sketchers and know my kids shoes will not fall apart.
sketchers police lights toddler shoes November 23, 2008 Christine Poncia very disappointed with Sketchers...my 4 year old son wore these twice and they fell apart....I sent them back and requested a replacement pair....still waiting for Sketchers to send me the new pair...strange how they cash your check within days but it sends weeks/months to make a return??? however...I got tired of waiting and ordered a pair through Bealls and had no problem...the shoes are fine and were actually a few dollars cheaper through their company than Sketchers
Love them! September 29, 2008 Victoria Ramos (Temple, TX United States) Very cute shoes, nice and solid. Fit true to size. Great for all little boys.
Awesome Lights! September 16, 2008 Janet (Minneapolis, MN) I got these shoes for my son since Wal-Mart did not have half sizes and that is what he needed. These shoes may be pricey but they are very well made. We had only one problem with the lights on one of the shoes where the red/blue lights do not light up. I really noticed that the quality of these shoes compared to any cartoon character ones you find at Target or Wal-Mart are dramatic. There's no comparison - these ones are very well made. I'd spend the money to buy them again. I just wish Skechers would fix the light problem with the shoes so they work right.
