Rothchild tweed coat reviewNovember 20, 2008 S. Michel(Bowie, MD) I purchased this coat on sale, but the quality of the coat is every bit worth the actual price. My 7 year old daughter says this is the warmest coat she has, despite her Landsend coat that is supposed to keep her warm down to 10degrees Fahrenheit. This Rothschild coat is heavier and thicker than the usual Rothschild dress coats. It's still long as the others hitting midcalf. She says the high cowl neck makes her "feel like I'm sleeping in a warm bed on top of a pillow." She wore it in 20-30 degree weather to her first communion evening service and received alot of compliments. Looks great with patent leather shoes or tall black boots. Cuffs are long enough to extend next year for another winter season.
