My daughter has a wide/fat foot (thick at the ball of the foot, not really wide in width) and it is hard for me to find Mary Jane shoes that do not leave a red mark accross the top of her foot. These shoes are PERFECT and fit her beautifully. The leather is very soft and looks very comfortable. She isn't always trying to take them off and seems to like them. Even her Stride Rite wides don't fit her as well and leave a red mark on her foot. On top of all that they are very cute, and you won't find a better price anywhere. I would highly recommend these shoes!

My 18 month old seems to really like these shoes. They fit well and are very, very flexible. Which explains why she trips a little more when wearing these. (Make sure you get the right size!) They are a bit big for her right now plus they are much more flexible than her Vincent shoes, so together she trips a little bit more.
She'll do the toddler squat, then put her knees down and scrape her shoes until they are behind her. If she does this outside, then it scrapes the leather. There is no toe scruff protector, so the shoes will get damanaged easily. We switch shoes out when she plays outside to avoid more scrapes.
Since the shoes are leather, they clean up quite nicely.
Overall, the shoes are great. I do wish they had better toe scraping protection.
