Product Description Loaded with facts, adventures and beauty, this popular game allows players to experience life as a ranchhand or as a member of a wild herd as they move along an adventure-filled game board. Included is a deck of beautifully designed horse cards each with the name, breed, color, markings and biography of a fictional horse. Includes a solitaire game for solo play. Three levels of play. 2 to 4 players.
Editorial Review Horses hold a magical appeal for children. This colorfully designed board game provides an exciting fantasy environment for two to six horse lovers. In the first game, players pretend to be wild mustang stallions galloping through mountains and valleys, gathering a herd to protect while facing such obstacles as cougars and bad weather. The first player to round up a herd wins. In two other games, players are ranchers rounding up strays and competing to fill out their herds. Players are sure to enjoy the in-depth educational information about horses and horse breeds that is included. This is a great game to saddle up when it's rainy on the ranch, providing enough challenge to play with parents as well as with friends. --Lee Strucker

My Favorite Horse Game as a Child December 18, 2008 Bort84 (Houston, TX) My mom got this game for me when I was about 10 I think. I loved it so much I would play it by myself! Both my mom and grandma are horse trainers, so I grew up around horses and read everything I could about them. Even as a very knowledgeable horse kid, I absolutely loved this game. The cards are beautifully illustrated (I was pretty snobby about my drawing and horse drawing skills as a kid, so this was very important to me). The cards are also extremely informational; a nice description of each breed's traits and history is written on the back. It's like one of those horse encyclopedias for kids in fun flash card format. I actually used to quiz myself with these... for fun! Yes, I'm a true horse lover/nerd, haha. When I wasn't playing with my mom, friends, or by myself, I would just read through all of the cards over and over again and make up my own games. When I got a little older, I even used the cards for a horsey book report/presentation I had to do in middle school. It was quite the hit. I'm not sure where my old game is, but writing this review reminds me of how much I loved it and honestly makes me want to go out and buy one (I'm 24 now, haha). I can't imagine any real horse kid not loving this game. It was by far my favorite Christmas present that year, and it held my interest for a long time.
Good Game September 2, 2008 I think this game is really cool. My favorite is the Mustang escape it is very fun trying to get the biggest herd and making it the Green River Valley. I like Rancher's Round up too but to me is not as much fun but it is still fun and really cool thinking you are the only one in the world that can ride the horse you are on. I haven't played the Rancher's Revenge yet because it seems too much like Rancher's Roundup, but I will play it soon. I also think it is really cool that you can play by yourself, overall this is a Great game
Daughter loves this game! January 14, 2008 Loving Mom My daughter is a horse fanatic. Was going to buy Horseopoly for my daughter but then I read other customers reviews of this game. Everyone seemed to love it! We love it too! It is simple to learn and there are 3 different versions to play of the game and 2 solitare games. We never tire of this game!
A KEEPER FOR YOUNG HORSE LOVERS January 7, 2008 S. Swift (Vancouver, WA USA) I played this with my 8 year old granddaughter and I know we will have years of playing this. The information on the many varieties of mustangs and ranch horses is priceless.
Fun game! Good buy! November 19, 2007 Durand Academy (Georgia Mountains) I have six siblings, and all of us like this game. Even my Dad likes it. There are actually three games in one, so you never get bored. The artwork on the horse cards is amazing. My siblings and I love to compete to see who can make it to the finish line with the prettiest horses. The names are cool too. It says ages 8 and over, but my five year old sister can play it with some help. It's a great buy, and I would recommend it to anyone interested. -Review by Brianna, Age 13
